Terms of service
Updated 26 October 2026
- crew.bot is a team of AI bots that does work for you in the accounts and systems you connect.
- You decide what it may do, and you're responsible for what you ask it to do and what you approve.
- AI makes mistakes. Check anything important before you rely on it.
- Use it lawfully and don't copy or take apart crew.bot itself.
- Card payments go through Paddle, our reseller. You can get a full refund within 14 days of any payment.
Who we are, and this agreement
crew.bot is made and run by Eikal Limited, a company registered in Kenya, of Nairobi, Kenya ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between us and you, or the business you use crew.bot for ("you"). By making an account or using crew.bot, you agree to them, and by carrying on using it you accept them as they're updated. If you use it for a business, you confirm you're allowed to agree on its behalf.
Our privacy policy explains what we do with your data, and our refund policy explains refunds. Both are part of these terms.
What crew.bot is
crew.bot gives you a crew of AI bots, led by a Lead, that plan and carry out work for you: reading and drafting email, using a browser, working in the apps, servers and databases you connect, and, if you install the app, using your computer. It runs routines on a schedule and reacts to events you set up. It uses AI models from other providers to do this.
We keep improving crew.bot, so features may change, appear or go away. We tell you before a change that takes away something you pay for.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Give us accurate details, and keep your sign-in safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account and your workspace, including what the people you invite do there.
- Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has got into your account.
What you ask it to do
The crew acts on your instructions, in the accounts and systems you give it. You're responsible for those instructions and for what you approve. crew.bot asks before sending email, changing an account or running anything that writes, unless you've told it to go ahead without asking. When you approve something, or allow it to act without asking, you take responsibility for the result.
Every job has a spending budget. If a job needs more, crew.bot stops and asks. Don't try to get around budgets, approvals or other limits.
AI can be wrong
crew.bot uses AI, and AI makes mistakes: it can misread a page, get a fact wrong or take a step you didn't expect. A skeptic checks the crew's findings, and every step is kept on record, but neither is a guarantee. Check anything important before you rely on it. crew.bot doesn't give legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.
Accounts and systems you connect
- Only connect accounts, systems and data you have the right to use, and that you're allowed to let crew.bot use for you.
- Services you connect, such as Google, keep their own terms, and you must follow them. We're not responsible for those services or for changes they make.
- You can disconnect an account at any time.
Your computer, and other people's
If you install the crew.bot app, the crew can see your screen and use your mouse and keyboard during a job, once you've given macOS permission. You can watch it and take over at any time. Only use crew.bot on someone else's computer with their clear consent, and stop when they ask.
What you mustn't do
- Break the law, or help anyone else break it.
- Send spam or bulk messages people didn't ask for, or harass, threaten, deceive or impersonate anyone.
- Get into accounts, systems or data you're not allowed to, or test, scan or attack systems without permission.
- Collect data from websites or services against their terms.
- Make or spread malware, or anything meant to harm people or systems.
- Copy, decompile, reverse-engineer or take apart crew.bot, or try to get at its code, prompts or models, except where the law allows it.
- Resell crew.bot, or build a competing product from it, without our written agreement.
- Overload or disrupt crew.bot, or get around its limits and security.
Your content
What you put into crew.bot, and what it makes for you, stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and send it to the providers we use, only as needed to run crew.bot for you, as our privacy policy describes. We don't use your content to train AI models.
- You're responsible for what you ask the crew for and for what you do with what it makes. AI can make something similar to what it makes for others, and it can be inaccurate, so check it before you publish or rely on it.
- Don't put into crew.bot anything you don't have the right to use, and don't use it to make anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
- We may review content and actions where we need to, to keep crew.bot safe, enforce these terms or follow the law, and we may remove content or stop a job that breaks them.
- If you think something made or kept with crew.bot infringes your copyright or other rights, email [email protected] with what it is, where it is and why. We'll look into it, remove it where that's right, and close the accounts of people who infringe again and again.
Our part
crew.bot, its software, design, name and logo belong to Eikal Limited. These terms let you use crew.bot; they don't give you any other rights in it. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely.
Paying
crew.bot has a free plan and paid plans, shown with their prices and limits on our pricing page. Prices are per workspace, in US dollars.
- By card. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders paid by card. Paddle takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT due, issues your receipts and invoices, and handles refunds and payment questions for those orders, under its buyer terms.
- Renewal. A plan paid by card is a subscription billed in advance, every month, 3 months or year as you chose, and it renews automatically at the same interval until you cancel. You authorise Paddle to charge your payment method at each renewal.
- With M-Pesa. In Kenya you can also pay Eikal Limited directly with M-Pesa, in shillings at the rate shown in crew.bot when you pay. Each M-Pesa payment buys 1, 3 or 12 months of a plan and doesn't renew automatically.
- Usage beyond your plan. If you add usage credit to your workspace's wallet and allow it, the crew can carry on past your plan's limits, charged at the rates shown in crew.bot and within the monthly cap you set. Usage credit can only be spent on crew.bot, can't be transferred or exchanged for cash, and is refunded only as our refund policy says.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in crew.bot, under Settings → Wallet, or, for a card plan, at paddle.net. Your plan keeps running until the end of the period you've paid for, then your workspace moves to the free plan.
- Refunds. You can get a full refund within 14 days of any payment, as our refund policy explains.
- Failed payments. If a renewal can't be charged, Paddle tries again over the following days. If it still can't be charged, your plan ends and your workspace moves to the free plan. Nothing in it is deleted.
- Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change affects you. It applies from your next renewal after that, and you can cancel before it does.
Availability
We work to keep crew.bot running and your data safe, but we don't promise it will always be available, fast or free of errors. We may change, pause or stop parts of it. If we stop crew.bot altogether, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to get your files out.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using crew.bot at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, that isn't paid for, that puts crew.bot or others at risk of fraud or a security breach, or that we must close by law. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
Disclaimers
Apart from what these terms say, crew.bot is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no other promises about it, including that it's fit for a particular purpose.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunity. Our total liability to you for anything to do with crew.bot is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for fraud.
Claims against us because of your use
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your instructions, the accounts you connect, or your breaking these terms or the law, you'll cover our reasonable costs and losses from it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in crew.bot or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using crew.bot after that, the new terms apply.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If we can't settle a dispute by talking, the courts of Nairobi will decide it, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your own courts.
